Terminator: Resistance Set To Release This Year

A trailer for Terminator: Resistance was released yesterday, showing details of the game. Terminator: Resistance is a single player first-person shooter based on the film series, which is being developed by Teyon and published by Reef Entertainment. Some are skeptical about the title, as this is the same team behind the unsuccessful Rambo: The Video Game, but we can only hope the game won’t follow in its footsteps.

Though the trailer just came out, it has been in development for a while now and is set to release later this year. With the new movie that just released, the new game should go right alongside it. Set 30 years after Judgement Day in a post apocalyptic LA. Players will take the role of Private Jacob Rivers, a member of the Resistance Pacific Division who is being targeted by SKYNET. The release will be following the launch of Terminator: Dark Fate, but the game only focuses on the first two films in the franchise.

Players will have a mix of main and side quests, with main quests used to rise up in the ranks. Side-quests are there for you to help allies. Players will be able to control Rivers however they want. You could choose to be a hacker or a basic gunner, scraps can be found to craft or can be traded to gain useful gear.

You can gain experience and level up skills. Players will also be fighting enemies such as T-800 and other new and (hopefully) cool enemy types. Terminator: Resistance features multiple endings; your ability to protect your resistance allies will help determine the type of ending you get.

Terminator: Resistance will be available in Europe and Australia on November 15th and will release on December 3rd in North America. It will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
