Starr Mazer DSP to Attend Day of the Devs

The guys and gals behind Starr Mazer DSP (a roguelike shoot-em up we reviewed last week) will be attending the fourth annual Day of the Devs gaming festival, taking place at the Midway Complex of San Francisco, this weekend. (5th November)

Creator Don Thacker, Producer Lindsay Peck, writer Vanessa Williams and Community Rep. Kazuo Mayeda have this to say”¦.

“We are honoured to be at Day of the Devs hosted by Double Fine! Plus we’re looking forward to hanging out in San Francisco and demoing the game; Admission is free so stop on by.”

Over the course of the festival you can expect it to be its usual celebration of Indie games, with art, music and of course food. Among over 50 other games you’ll be able to take a look at Starr Mazer DSP all Halloweened up, and fully furnished with the Boss Rush Mode contest that concluded quite recently.

That’s right, the three players who defeated the souped up bosses in the best times. Steam users (>’-‘)>, Embakaments and B3 Custom will now have their custom names entered into the game. It’s also worth noting that B3 Custom won the previous contest as well, so definitely on a roll although it was (>’-‘)> who walked away with the first prize T-Shirt this time.

Don’t worry if you’re enjoying the Halloween content, as the team aren’t removing it just yet.

“The fans are really enjoying many of the sprite swaps. They will be in the game until the next update but may stick around even further.”

If you haven’t caught Starr Mazer DSP yet then you can get It from Steam for around a tenner and there’s even a 50% off coupon to sweeten the deal even further.
