Gravity Dash Comes to iOS and Android

Run. Jump. Invert. Repeat. Gravity Dash is a brand new mobile game that is now available on Android and iOS. A retro runner with all the right stuff to make a fun little mobile game. Make your way through endless levels and, most likely, fail a lot while you’re doing it! This is definitely the type of game that would leave you feeling frustrated as you try to traverse each obstacle; each less forgiving than the last. To add to the confusion, you also gain the ability to mess with the laws of physics. Gravity is your weapon as you attempt to remain in one piece vaulting over spikes, sawblades, guillotines and other various death-inducing obstacles.

This is the perfect game for mobile. Okay, sure, you are likely to want to rip your hair out while playing. But, it is a fun little concept for a mobile game. If you love hard retro-style games, with 2D graphics that are actually rather adorable, then this is the game for you. The controls are simple enough, you only need one button to change which way gravity is. Anyone can pick up this game and enjoy it. And by enjoy it, I mean fruitlessly fail over and over again. But, in an entertaining way that will (hopefully) keep you coming back for more.

There is also the chance to gain gems in order to change your appearance. There is no indication as to how hard it is to obtain these gems but this is likely to feed into their in-app purchases.

Unfortunately, Free Range Robots is not a charity. Although, if it was, I would certainly back it. It is, in fact, the name of the game developer that created Gravity Rush. Founded by Jedd Goble, they aim to make simple yet challenging games. This is the first title from the studio and I doubt their last.

The game is free to download with in-app purchases. But, why not give this one a go? For a free-to-play game it couldn’t hurt. And, you never know, you might enjoy it.

I've always had a passion for games and, since I found my passion for writing, I wanted to write about them. I'll play just about anything if I can get my hands on it. I have an unhealthy obsession with all things Star Wars and my motto is "Never apologise for being a nerd."
