Dead End Job for Release in Q2 2019

Dead End Job is a procedurally generated, co-op twin-stick shooter game developed by Ant Workshop is due for release somewhere in the middle of 2019, for PC, xBox One and PS4. Take on the role of an exterminator working for the paranormal pest control department, Ghoul-B-Gone.

Set in a 90’s style crazy world, Dead End Job is reminiscent of the Ren & Stimpy, Rocko’s Modern Life cartoons. In an afterlife ghostbusting style, you get a vacuum pack on your back and a ghost blaster in your hand. It’s all in a day’s work for Hector Plasm, the newest employee at Ghoul-B-Gone.

Head into a variety of modern haunted buildings including offices, and restaurants and provide a firm yet strong exit from the buildings to these netherworldly squatters. Do well, and maybe a promotion will not be far away for you.

Use your ghost hunting equipment wisely. Every ‘resident’ you bag and tag is charged to your client at the end of the day. You need to train hard with your ghost mentor and learn everything you can, so you can ultimately save her soul before she becomes a spook herself.

You don’t have to do all this alone. You can co-op with a buddy, who can drop in and drop out at any time. You can also play to an audience on Twitch and Mixer that allows your own viewers to either help or hurt your progress.

“Do you love 90’s cartoons? Yeah, so do we, and we grew up on their stretchy squishy gross-out laughs. Our love for them spills over into the game like so much ectoplasm. See every nose hair in wacky, vibrant art that brings everyday items to life as screwball spooks to suck up. To top it off, the entire adventure is backed by music from the award-winning Will Morton (Grand Theft Auto series).”
