Creative Assembly Settles Concerns About Future of Total War

Total War: Warhammer II will not affect any historical entries from Creative Assembly for the Total War franchise.

In order to calm down the ever-growing concerns and anger appearing on the Total War website – Creative Assembly have had to speak out stating: “production for our next historical major release is well underway”

A post by Micheal Whalen on the Total War blog states:

“For the first time, a historical advisor is working with Creative Assembly on the project. One of the main reasons for this is because the next historical Total War takes place in a new era for the team.

That’s not all, though. There are sub-teams even looking at releasing smaller historical content before the next big game.

“Specifically, we have recently been looking at ways in which we might get back to historical content before we release the next major historical Total War, in particular, thinking about additional content or standalone for some of our more recent historical titles”

Despite the concerns of historical content being pushed aside – fans can now rest assured that this is not the case.

Total War: Warhammer II was announced earlier this week and is set to come out later this year.
