Final Fantasy VII Remake Releasing Q1 2020

The remake of Final Fantasy VII, from its origins on the Playstation to the PS4, has been something that die-hard Final Fantasy fans have been waiting for, since mumblings of its development were heard a few years ago. The adventures of Cloud, Tifa, Barrett et al, are finally to be brought into the 21st century, and will debut first on the Playstation 4, on 3rd March 2020.

If you’re not familiar with it, I suggest you watch the below trailers, the first is the new trailer, and the second trailer is a comparion between the original PS1 version and the new PS4 version.

If you’re not familiar with Final Fantasy VII, then allow me to familiarise you.

“Final Fantasy VII tells the story of a world fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet’s very life force as mako energy. In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, unaware of the epic adventures that await him.”
