PUBG Mobile Content Update Brings In New Sanhok Map

In all-new update, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG MOBILE) is now offering the much-anticipated Sanhok map. Set in a dense jungle with varying landscape, Sanhok offers players a smaller map for more tense combat scenarios and gun battles, adding to the list of previous updates, which included the Miramar map, training mode, first-person mode and much more.

Tencent Games today also released even more impressive statistics for PUBG MOBILE, as the game continues to impress the market with more than 20 million daily active users (not including Japan, Korea and China). In Season 2, the previous 14-week period of games, more than 130 million players from more than 200 countries earned themselves 864,425,575 chicken dinners.

In addition to the inclusion of Sanhok, PUBG MOBILE’s latest update adds new in-game and social features that enhance the player’s ability to work with teammates cooperatively, including:

  • New Weapons and Vehicles – Sanhok map comes with several new weapons and vehicles, including the Flare Gun, QBZ, Muscle Car and Bulletproof UAZ
  • Anti-Cheating Measures – Improved recognition for cheating plug-ins and added report buttons to Spectator Mode, Basic Information, and Results screens
  • Season Data – Season page now shows all seasons player and relevant data, including titles, highest tier reached and more
  • Gameplay Improvements – Improvements have been made to the chat system, clan rankings, air drop items, friends list and more

PUBG MOBILE is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.

PUBG MOBILE is based on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the original battle royale PC and Xbox One phenomenon that took the world of interactive entertainment by storm in 2017. Up to 100 players parachute onto a remote 8×8 km island to do battle in a winner-takes-all showdown. Players must locate and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles and supplies, and defeat every player in a visually and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a shrinking play zone.
