Yep, it’s that time again ladies and gentlemen. The Sims 4 is bringing out a brand new game pack and this time its all about the weather! The Sims 4 Seasons, I imagine, will be like how we had seasons in the other Sims games but a bit more ambitious(?). Either way, it looks to be one of the best game packs yet with a whole heap of new and exciting things being shown in the trailer. We have had seasons added to the franchise since The Sims 2 so it was only a matter of time before they brought it out for the latest instalment in the series. So, what can we expect from this game pack?
Come rain or shine or snow or thunder!
One of the biggest parts of the seasons pack, as you might expect, will be the weather changes. This will include every kind of weather you can imagine and probably a few more. But, of course with The Sims, it never just stops there. Alongside the seasons, will also come new holidays like Christmas, Easter and Halloween. Alongside those, it looks like we’ll also be getting a whole heap of new clothing and items all fitting for whichever season you like. The trailer shows off so much, it’s hard to summarise just exactly what we will be getting but there looks to be a lot. Which is always nice when you are looking at spending £25 on an expansion.
New skills and features
More exciting gameplay options look like they are available too. Including ice-skating, roller skating and maybe even apiaries (which is to do with bees for anyone who doesn’t know). The trailer also showed off gift giving at Christmas as well as being able to decorate the tree which is my favourite part! There even looks to be a lot of seasonal decorations that you can place all over your house. But, I digress. I honestly believe that this latest expansion may be the best one yet. You won’t just be getting a few weather changes. We know that EA has a reputation for milking the cow-plant but this time it may just be worth it. Plus, the end of the trailer shows a man basically becoming Thor. And who doesn’t want that?
The Sims 4 Seasons is available for pre-order now and will release on June 22nd 2018. Are you excited for it?
