Resurrection for Might & Magic Franchise with New Mobile Game

Might & Magic is being resurrected on mobile! Everyone rejoice! Get out the part hats people, this is a big deal. And, no, that wasn’t sarcasm. Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile are the ones to thank for this revival. Many of you may be thinking that playing this game on mobile is an insult to the franchise but actually, it offers more opportunities than you may think. The game itself is called Might & Magic Elemental Guardians and it sure looks good for a mobile game. You can check out the teaser trailer below.

So, what’s in store for those of you interested? First of all, you get to pick your hero to play which you can also customise to make it unique to you. The other part of it includes you collecting creatures to level up, fight them against your enemies and evolve them. The goal: to build the ultimate team of elemental warriors. By combining fast paced strategic gameplay with the oddly beautiful Western anime style, the game has some potential. It will feature classic icons from the series as well as some new additions that the developers hope we will enjoy too. And, the gameplay offers two ways of playing. There’s the single player campaign and, of course, PvP is also available.

Like most mobile games, this does look to be free-to-play with in app purchases. That is to be expected of course but we’ll have to wait to see how much this will effect the gameplay. But, for the most part it could be good to play. You can pre-register now and you will be informed when the game is officially launched. They have given a release date of March 31st so you don’t need to wait long to find out. If you want some more information about the game and to find out the latest news, check out their website at Might & Magic. Now, I’m just going to leave you some some sweet screenshots to enjoy.
