Microïds Bringing Co-op Platformer Super Chariot to Switch

French publisher Microïds have announced that they are bringing Frima Studio’s 2014 co-op platformer Chariot to the Nintendo Switch eShop. The game is already available on Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The enhanced port, titled Super Chariot, is set for release this year. It is packaged with the Royal Gadget Pack DLC, which adds a new character and 5 new gadgets. It will allow for co-operative play in both TV and handheld modes.

In the announcement, Microïds promises that the game will delight fans looking for a challenge. Microïds have previously released six games for the Switch, including ports of Syberia and Gear.Club Unlimited.

Chariot was developed in partnership with the Canada Media Fund. It was released to highly positive reviews, and Super Chariot represents another step in the downright explosive growth of the Switch’s indie lineup.
