Digimon World : Next Order Now Available

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has announced that Digimon World: Next Order is now available in the North America for the PlayStation 4 in both digital and retail versions. You can check out the official launch trailer below.

Digimon World: Next Order was developed by B.B. Studio, who is known primarily for their Super Robot Wars games. The adventure sees players take-on either the role of Takuto or Shiki to explore and traverse the Digital World and take on the villainous Machinedramons.

The last game in the Digimon World series to be released in North America was 2008’s Digimon World Championship. As with previous entries in the franchise players will be tasked with developing their Digimon partners through training, feeding, battle, and more.

  • Over 200 Digimon from the animated series!
  • For the first time ever in the series, explore the Digital World with not one, but TWO Digimon partners!
  • Your success in battles & the growth of your partners is totally dependent on you: raise, train, feed, etc. in real-time to form strong bonds with your companions. Every interaction & activity matters!
  • Evolved AI Battle System: strong bonds with your partners is key – train your Digimon to excel in AI battles on their own. Cooperation & synchronization between your partners and their feelings will increase your chances of winning. Shout commands and cheer them to victory!

“Digimon is a beloved franchise and we are excited to bring the Digimon World series back to the loyal and passionate Digimon fans in the Americas. Digimon World: Next Order provides fans with a unique gameplay system that focuses on forging strong bonds with their Digimon companions. Every single interaction, no matter how big or small, will affect gameplay in some way. Players’ success in the game is directly tied to how well they develop their Digimon; we can’t wait to see and hear about players’ different gameplay experiences.” – Mark Religioso, Marketing Brand Manager at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc.

Those looking to get Digimon World: Next Order can find it on the Playstation Store, and at local and online retailers for $59.99
