Automatron DLC Out Released March

Well, if you’ve been waiting diligently for Automatron, the first of Bethesda’s Fallout 4 DLC’s then you won’t have to wait very long. The robot based downloadable content pack is due for release on March 22nd. That’s right, next week, Next Tuesday in fact.

So, this pack is due to introduce a whole load of robot based goodness to Fallout 4. New Robots, new questlines, and more importantly the ability to make and design a robot automated killing machine of your very own are all ready to be added.

However, this does leave me in a bit of a predicament. My game already has a few robot mods built into it, and I’m not sure how they’re going to play together. So, I’m thinking it may just be easier to start again”¦ again. Maybe this time around, I might even play the game entirely mod-less, see how that goes. Bethesda will eventually sort out a mod workshop like they did for Skyrim, but in the short time maybe I’m ready for the more simplistic version of the wasteland.

Then again, maybe I’m not ready to not be able to wear armour pieces on every outfit, or not being able to make my own ammo or being unable to wear all those custom outfits. Maybe, I’ll just wait until the DLC is released and see just what happens to my Fallout 4 installation before I decide.

Regardless of all that, I’m kinda excited for all the changes that the Automatron DLC is going to add to the game. I love the idea of wandering the wasteland looking for parts for my own personal battle droid. Plus, as this is the first bit of downloadable content released by Bethesda, they need to make sure it’s a good one. After all we’ve been waiting for this for a few months now.

Fallout 4’s Automatron is Available on the 22nd March and costs £7.99 ($9.99) of course if you picked up the Special Pass you’ll get this for free.
