New Indie-Fund Picks up Armello

Armello logo sign white titleFunding a video game can be an expensive business. Large software companies can pump millions into a release, with massive budgets being bounced around to get that perfect game. But what do you do, if you’re an indie developer with fantastic ideas but not the funds to back them up with. Well, that’s where Indie-Fund comes in.

According to their website…

“Indie Fund is a funding source for independent developers, created by a group of successful indies looking to encourage the next wave of game developers. It was established as a serious alternative to the traditional publisher funding model. Our aim is to support the growth of games as a medium by helping indie developers get (and stay) financially independent.”

MomoCon 2015 Finalists Announced

I’ve posted a lot about Indie Games Development recently. There was this post for a start. Then, and a little more relevantly, I posted about the first annual MomoCon indie game awards, which is taking place at the end of this month.

Well, out of a list of over 120 entries, they have finally shortlisted this down to twenty finalists. All of which are listed below.

So, with that in mind, scroll down to the press release below, click on those links and start trying out as many of those indie games as you can.
