Portal Knights on PC, PS4 & xBox Released

Portal Knights an award-winning co-operative action RPG developed by Keen Games and published by 505 has just fired itself out of Early Access into the big, wide world of full release.

In Portal Knights, choose from one of three RPG character classes (Warrior, Mage or Ranger) and explore the landscape, and fight vicious monsters. As you level up, you can craft more and more powerful gear, and items to take on bigger and greater challenges, all in real-time combat.

Travel between and explore randomly generated 3D sandbox worlds. Build an impressive home, from the spoils of all your hard-fought battles and develop your knight by mastering powerful talents and tactical combat.

Play in four-person co-operative online multiplayer or two-player local split screen modes. In short, you can group up with family and friends to build, explore mysterious dungeons and defeat powerful foes together.

Portal Knights has been in Early Access now for around a year and during this time the developers have taken in all the feedback from the community to mold the game in to what the community wanted, an imaginative 3D sandbox world with a focus on tactical action combat and RPG leveling.

Keen Games added new content for players, ranging from larger islands to additional timed events, on a near-monthly basis for more than a year. With the game now released, the developers are still listening to your feedback, and plan to add more content and features regularly.

“We want to thank everyone who participated in our Early Access phase; you were instrumental in bringing the world of Portal Knights from concept to completion,” said Antony Christoulakis, Keen Games. “Steam’s Early Access program helped us create a polished, immersive game by connecting us with our fans so we could gather their valuable feedback before bringing the game to console. We are very happy with the results, and welcome PS4 and Xbox One players to join the adventure with our official launch!”

If you want to take a look at Portal Knights check out the official site. It’s available for purchase now on Steam for PC, PS4 and Xbox One for $29.99 at physical retail and $19.99 digitally.
